Pasumai Thaayagam is a NGO in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC).

It’s (now honorary) president Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss is the Former Minister for Health and Family Welfare, in the Indian Government headed by Dr. Manmohan Singh.

Pasumai Thaayagam has participated many international and national events including World Summit on Sustainable Development 2002 at Johannesburg, 3rd World Water Forum at Kyoto, COP8 of UNFCCC at New Delhi.
